Susan Burke is a Wyoming born actress, writer, stand up and sketch comic that lives in Los Angeles. A regular performer in the "LA Alternative comedy scene" performing often at such shows as the "Comedy Death Ray" at the UCB theater and the "Tomorrow Show" at the Steve Allen Theater. Susan is a frequent sketch performer on the G4TV shows "Attack of The show" and "X-Play" and appeared in several sketches on Comedy Central's "Important Things with Demetri Martin". Susan does a long list impressions including, Bjork, Katie Holmes, Dorthy Parker (but who doesn't do a Dorthy Parker, come on) Scarlet Johanson and Lucille Ball.
Susan has contributed her writing to the Current TV show "Infomania" and Oxygen's "25ist". Aside from writing straight forward sketch comedy, Susan has written and staged three plays that were more dramatic and experimental in nature.
As a music fan, Susan tries to fuse music with comedy as much as possible and has collaborated with "Tim and Eric" composer Davin Wood on several projects. Susan collaborated with singer songwriter Yves Lelevier and Pychobilly-punk-folk band "Los Duggans" on her stage play "Heaven Hell and Everything Swell". It's these kind of unlikely creative collaborations and ideas that make Susan's comedy unique and daring, she isn't about to come at you with a standard "dick joke"... however, at times, Susan has been known to think dick jokes are funny too.
